Board of Directors Election

At the upcoming Annual Meeting homeowners will have the opportunity to elect three (3) members to the Board of Directors. The first step in the election process is to identify members of the Association who are interested in serving their community as a member of the Board of Directors. If you, or someone you know, is interested in serving on the Board of Directors please complete and return the 2020 Board of Directors Candidacy Application Form by Saturday, January 04, 2020 at 5:00 PM.

District Delegate/Alternate District Delegate

Each neighborhood, or District, will also be electing a Delegate to represent their District in Association matters. The CC&Rs define the term Delegate as a person elected in the manner provided within the Bylaws and to represent the collective voting power of all of the Members within the Delegate District. Delegates are elected for a two-year term. Each neighborhood within La Costa Oaks is represented by a Delegate and Alternate Delegate. It is necessary for the Delegates to attend and vote at the Annual Meeting of Delegates and to represent the neighborhood district on other owner participation issues. Serving as a Delegate is an excellent way to participate in the La Costa Oaks governance process. Alternate Delegates attend meetings and represent their District whenever the Delegate is unable to attend.

Should you wish to be considered for one of these positions, please complete and return the enclosed District Delegate / Alternate Delegate Candidacy Application by Saturday, January 04, 2020 at 5:00 PM.

If you any questions regarding these positions, please contact Cami Surette at the management office: [email protected].
